Dublin Music Therapy was born out of the strict lockdown earlier this year. We collectively battened down the hatches last March to keep everyone safe while we weathered out the 'Corona-Storm', but one unfortunate consequence of this meant that many respite or support services for those with special needs or mental health challenges were either suspended or shut down. As the lockdown dragged on week after week, and the majority of therapeutic services remained on hold, I strongly felt there would be a huge need for extra support once our world began to open up once again.
Since opening our doors in September, we have been delighted to see more and more people in our local community and beyond turning to music therapy and reaching out to us for help and support. You can read more about our journey in the following Sunday Times articles by Sandra O'Connell. See link below!
